Deep Night Season 14: Holland Andrews

Dale aligns his vibrations to a cosmic frequency this week when he’s joined by vocalist, composer, and performer Holland Andrews. Supremely moved by their work, Dale asks Holland about their creative process and how being so open to input from the universe requires grounding and a regular practice of self-care. Dale and Holland also discuss the role that loss and healing plays in both of their artistic lives, and the ways in which performers become better by attuning themselves to an audience. The two also talk about the life lessons of marching band, the tendency to sing harmony with vending machines, and foundational texts that inform Holland’s work. Dale also finds out about the secret magic put into Forgettings, Holland’s latest EP which is available everywhere to purchase or stream. Plus Dale has a rose to deliver and the Gowanus has a plan. This episode is sponsored by Athletic Greens.
