Dale slathers a radish with butter and turns his knobs to simmer as he welcomes food writer, chef, and buttermilk evangelist, Alison Roman to the Deep Night. After a year of cooking at home, Dale checks in with Alison about pandemic faves and quarantine never-agains. Alison shares some self-care recipes for keeping the body in check; things to do with too many panic-bought bags of beans; and what it’s like to make a series of cooking videos in a smallish NYC apartment. The two also talk about the incredible versatility of tinned fish and fun experiments in communal living.
