Deep Night Season 12: Alise Morales

Dale reflects back on his fifteen year old self and recalls many hours spent learning about life at the local mall in this conversation with comedian and writer Alise Morales. After some quick improv games at the top of the show to keep things loose and to honor Alise’s improvisational background, the two get off to a fine discussion about growing up Gothy, possible redemption for Spencer’s Gifts, and what it’s like providing the voice of AOC in Showtime’s Our Cartoon President. Plus lots of talk about high school musicals and the curious choices of one particularly dramatic drama teacher. Also Dale receives a signal from the universe in the form of a giant raccoon.

For more on Alise – catch her doing stand up all around town, or go see her phenomenal comedy show, Roast of Your 15 Year Old Self. If you’re in San Francisco this week, go help Dale celebrate the opening of his crystal emporium by attending Deep Night with Dale’s World of Gems. The gems are the great acts he’s put together on this unique evening of comedy and conversation! Join Dale and his guests Arden Myrin, JoAnn Schinderle, Andrew Orolfo, Kasper Hauser, and Phoebe Bottoms, with music from Zelma Stone. Tickets and info: https://sfsketchfest2020.sched.com/event/Xpu2
