Deep Night Season 10: Past, Present, and Future Dales

Dale flies solo in this special three-part episode, but he’s never truly alone in the Deep Night. For one, he has you, the eager listener. Two, he’s always conjuring an future for himself with a loving family farming the high seas. And while he tries to stay in the present, he can’t help ruminating on his past lives, and the past lives of those past lives. In other words, it’s a full house in the mind of Dale Seever! This episode features some probably factual things about where we’re headed as a planet, plus an exclusive track from one of Dale’s hot new guided meditation programs. He’s in the woods, and so are you and it’s a little chilly and ARE YOU RELAXED YET?! It’s a fine time this week, with plenty of typical Seever-digressions, and way too many sound effects.

Deep Night Season 10: Greta Titelman

Dale embraces chance encounters and honors the strange forces behind the Deep Night and NYC street festivals, two powerful cosmic entities responsible for bringing him into contact with comedian Greta Titelman. The host of Personal Space on Bravo and a co-host of the Lady Lovin podcast, Greta has a great deal to offer in terms of relationships and lady issues, but also some insightful thoughts on grief, acceptance, and shutting down regrets. The two agree on a strict no hot sheets policy when it comes to lovers and reminisce about the second-hand joys of art school, weird ways to enjoy parts of EPCOT, and moments when rage is the exact right emotion. Dale dishes on some awkward thoughts about his recent college reunion and has a transcendent moment with a flying insect.

Greta’s Bat Mitzvah is happening as part of the upcoming edition of the New York Comedy Festival. Tickets and information about that event can be found here: http://nycomedyfestival.com/event/greta-titelmans-bat-mitzvah/. To watch episodes of Personal Space, visit the Bravo site. And subscribe to Lady Lovin on their website or download directly via itunes!

Deep Night Season 9: Land of the Lost

Dale reports back from a recent trip to the blustery, dust-covered plains of Kansas and Nebraska in this solo episode. Off to the Midwest to assist his wife Galinda with her energy healing workshops, Dale discovers a lot about himself during the extensive downtime between clients. A simple jaunt to a vintage gas station turns traumatic and Dale remembers why he prefers pants with fewer pockets. Suddenly without his trusty navigational gadgets, a wandering Dale tunes into the news to keep him company only to end up confounded by the President’s fashion choices and begins to question whether this person has just completely lost it or is on to something. Maybe there is a missed opportunity for a clothing line at Office Max? Dale also reflects back on eight years of doing this show and what new adventures are still ahead for him. Plus he goes courting agents and offers a few thoughts on wealth. Of which he has none thanks to doing his taxes early.

Next Deep Night live is Weds, March 22nd at 8pm at The Slipper Room in NYC. With special guests Nicole Silverberg, Alex English, and seance photographer Shannon Taggart. Tickets and more information available over at the Slipper Room’s website or on www.daleradio.com.

Deep Night Season 9: Department of Energy

Dale traverses a long footbridge of transformation in this solo episode, which finds Dale trying to make sense of his place in the world. Surprised by an early solstice gift from his wife Galinda, Dale buys a last minute ticket to Laramie to spend time on the energy ranch of famed personal healer, Lon Rooney. Dale lets his mind wander during the two-day retreat and he finds new meaning in a passing tumbleweed, sad pasta eaten by airline attendants, long trains, and the silence of the holidays spent in an empty Arby’s restaurant. He’s also deeply troubled by the recent revelation that the election of Tugger Fermoil may have been rigged and wonders openly about some issues in his marriage. Join Dale as he battles the distraction of endless super moons and welcomes you to the clarity that can only be attained with a visit to the Deep Night.
